The Baron is named after the German family name of my first Baron customer. The full name is The Baron von Holstein. This rocker is almost completely hand-made with little use of power tools. Many hours of hand shaping are required. The Baron is the most extensive use of lamination that I do. The finish, like all my work, is hand-rubbed oil applied over several weeks.
